The Great India Talent School began in 2017 with 350 children. It is GITF’s first step towards a larger goal: a vibrant learning community of more than 50,000 students and staff, built through education and community development programmes across tribal and rural India.
Education is a basic human right. Making it accessible to all, and extending economic opportunity to the last mile, is the foundation of progress for individuals and for society.
That work has been made possible through partnership: with the Government of Tripura, The Akshaya Patra Foundation, Macmillan Education Trust, the National Institute of Value Education, donors and the communities we serve.
Build Akshaya Vidya Sponsor a specific utility at Akshaya Vidya, GITF’s new school in Vidyaranyapura, Bengaluru. The 1.25-acre campus has a G+4 building of 60,000 sq. ft. and will serve up to 1,500 students from Nursery to Grade 10.
Sponsor a cohort: Fund the full cost of education for a group of children, at ₹20,000 per child per year.
Nutrition: Support daily nutritious meals for students.
Health and well-being: Fund medical camps, check-ups and immunisations.
Digital learning: Strengthen ICT-enabled learning and technology-based teaching.
Employee engagement: Involve your teams through volunteering, school visits or payroll giving
